How does a blademaster work?
Computerized controllers are programmed to increase the rpm of the grinding wheel spindle as it is dressed to a smaller diameter. Blademaster has carefully engineered the correlation between the spindle rpm and wheel diameter to give the optimum grinding action and performance throughout the life of the wheel.
Do you sharpen skates heel to toe?
Though it isn’t bad form to choose one way or the other, Blademaster always recommends that you sharpen from heel-to-toe. This is to stay consistent with contouring operations, which must be mounted heel-to-toe with the operator sharpening right to left to move with the wheel.
What radius should I sharpen my skates?
The most common radius of hollow cuts are ½” and 5/8” for skate sharpening shops because it provides the best balance between edge depth and glide speed.
Is the blademaster good?
If you have team mates running off far ahead then the Blademaster suffers because they are not as strong outside of venom. But when in venom, Blademaster is much stronger. They’re not a tank like Cole/Brawler – they’re not designed to be. But they are extremely good for fast hit and run strikes.
Do you need to cross grind new skates?
Cross-grinding is an excellent way to prep brand new skates for sharpening, or to remove rust or other imperfections (eg. uneven edges) left over from a previous sharpening.

Is Blade Master good in BNS?
The Blade Master is a well-rounded class that is easy to use but difficult to master. It takes a great deal of skill and quick thinking to be effective, but has no overt disadvantages that enemies can exploit.

Can skates be too sharp?

How does a skate sharpener work?

What is the difference in skate sharpening?
The sharper your edges are (which comes from the deeper grooves), the deeper you sink into the ice. So you can get more push and accelerate faster, but also, during coasting, you slow down quicker because of the increased friction/drag of your blades in the ice.

Rage is acquired by dealing damage to and being in combat with enemies. It is displayed underneath the health bar.

What is the difference between 5/8 and 1/2 skate sharpening?
Glide and bite are determined by the amount of blade cutting into the ice. 1/2 inch is our standard hollow, a 3/8 would provide more bite, a 5/8 would provide less bite.
For a routine sharpening, 4-5 “grinding” passes and one “finish” pass should be plenty, but one trick that I recommend using is to mark the bottom of your skate blade on the heel, middle, and toe of the blade with a sharpie prior to sharpening.
Can you block in Zenith?
For blocking, raise one or both of your swords in front of your body before the enemy swings theirs. By placing your blade in it’s path, you stop it from dealing damage to you.
How do you master strike in Zenith?
To begin charging for a master strike, perform a power strike (vertical or horizontal) but keep the trigger button held afterwards. You will hear a bell when the master strike is charged, and your charged weapon will glow. The master strike will be performed by simply hitting an enemy while in this charged state.
