What temperature is Blue Ice?
Blue ice. Products will arrive with blue ice packs to keep them cool (approximately 4ºC). On certain ocassions, the ice pack may have thawed by the time the product reaches you; this is usually perfectly fine, and will not affect product quality.

Depending on the method you choose to cool your gel pack (freezer, refrigerator or submerged in ice), it can get as cold as 17˚ F. It is important to always use a protective barrier between the gel pack and your skin as to avoid any tissue damage.
Can you heat blue ice packs?
These packs can be heated in a microwave for about three to five minutes, until comfortably hot, and used as you would use a hot water bottle. Use regular white rice, not instant. And make sure you use an all-cotton fabric, as synthetics are not suitable for heating in a microwave.

The packs take about six to eight hours to freeze and are ideal for keeping drinks cold for entire days. Each reusable pack freezes at 28 degrees to keep surrounding items colder than water’s freezing point.

Can I heat gel pack in water?
Boil approx. 4 litres of water in an appropriate pan. Once the water has boiled, remove it from the heat and immerse the pack in the water for approx. 10 minutes.
