The Behringer Sub Octaver is an effect that is built into the Behringer X32 & Midas M32 Effects Rack and provides sub-harmonic and harmonic content to the applied signal. This is useful if you are wanting to provide more low end on a specific instrument as an effect.

When would you use multi band compression?
Multiband compression works great at tightening low frequencies, reducing boom, and adding power. Treating the low-end with a dedicated band also allows you to apply heavy compression without affecting the midrange frequencies, which carry the attack of the sound.

What does parallel compression do?
Parallel compression uses a send and return setup similar to how you would send a signal to an effects processor. It is the combination of the dry signal mixed with a compressed version. In a parallel setup, you can use heavier compression to pull more depth out of the source signal.
How do you edit muffled audio?
Preventing the muffled sound by recording without effects, in an open space (i.e. NOT a closet) with a good microphone, and. If the voice is already recorded, apply some EQ to the vocal track. Just reducing the low and low-mid frequencies should do the trick.
