I do recommend registering the chip on several microchip sites, including Home Again and Pet Chip Registry (National database).
Can I cancel my pet registration after I purchase the chip?
NOTE: As other reviewers have mentioned, once you have registered the chip ($19.99 as of 02/24/2017) you can cancel the automatic renewal but your pet’s registration will remain active for life; the annual subscription buys you some additional services that you may or may not find useful/beneficial.
