Is the Linnmon desk worth it?
Definitely would reccomend. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great gaming desk! I was looking for a good desk for my gaming setup and this definitely fit the bill. I was afraid the desk top would come damaged due to shipping, however it was very well packaged.
Are Lagkapten and Linnmon the same?
Just a note: the table they send is actually the lagkapten. Which is just the newer version of linnmon. Same color. Fits perfect with my other two linnmon.
Can you screw into IKEA table tops?
The short answer is yes. However, you have to be initially careful cutting into it and cognizant of what it is made of inside. If I had to describe the inside of the Ikea Linnmon tables, outside they are made of laminate and inside they are made of heavy particle board with beehive structure.
Does Linnmon have predrilled holes?
Top critical review The desk top does not have pre drilled holes that will correctly line up with the legs; you would need to drill holes yourself if you really want it to be secure. The desk top I received was damaged in the mail and the legs were also somewhat misaligned.
Can you screw into an IKEA desk top?
Possibly. I purchased an IKEA desktop and a different set of legs than was designed to go with it. I drilled new holes in the top to match the holes in the legs and bolted the whole thing together. The legs are adjustable for height and I’ve cranked it up and down numerous times over the last 2.5-3 years with no issue.
