Is NRMA and RACV the same?
NRMA’s financial services operations, compulsory third party insurance in NSW, commercial lines and home lending will remain outside the joint venture. Insurance products distributed in Victoria by RACV will be badged as RACV products, and in NSW products distributed by NRMA will be badged as NRMA products.

What does RAC cover me for?
If you have Standard or Unlimited cover, you’ll be covered for Roadside Assistance and At Home, and a 10-mile tow for the first 24 hours. After 24 hours, your full cover will start (excluding some of our breakdown extras, if you have them). If you’ve already broken down but you don’t have cover, don’t buy online.

How do I claim RACV benefits?
In order to claim a benefit you must present your current RACV membership card or current membership card of an Australian Motoring Organisation or International Affiliate (“Card”) (or give details of such Card if you are making a transaction.
How does the RACV card program work?
The Program Partner will then swipe or scan the Card or enter the membership number on the Card into their systems and then transmit this data to RACV so that RACV can track the use of the Program (refer to condition 4.3 for more details).
