Located in Gosiger Hall, we are staffed by a team of board-certified primary care physicians and registered nurses. All UD students must have medical health insurance; International students must submit proof of insurance via the student portal on an annual basis.
Who should not attend University of Dayton?
One who does not like being interactive and working with others should not attend UD. UD focuses on it’s community a lot, which make its an awesome school. It is an incredibly welcoming place and has so many great opportunities on and off campus. There are so many organizations to join and activites to participate in.

What is the housing requirement at the University of Dayton? All first-year and second-year students must live on campus unless they are classified as commuter students. If you are a transfer student you must live in University Housing if you have attended any college for less than four semesters.

What are your dorms like? First-year students live in one of our residence halls, which feature a resident assistant on every floor, study rooms, laundry facilities and a chapel. Every room comes with a fridge, microwave, cable TV/phone/wireless internet connection and air conditioning.

First year undergraduate students are required to live in University residence halls, and many undergraduate students choose to continue living on-campus beyond their first year.

What time does the University of Dayton Health Center open?
During the academic year, the Health Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, except University holidays. A physician is available for consultation every weekday morning and afternoon throughout the year, except University holidays.
Is Univ of Dayton a party school?
Yes, UD does have a reputation for being a “party school” but just because we have that reputation, doesnt mean you have to be apart of it, or be labeled for choosing something else instead of partying. Classes are very diverse, and many classes will have group work.
