Parking for Nantucket Travelers When headed to Nantucket, please be advised that we offer limited on-site parking at our Hyannis terminal. Off-site parking however, is always available with free shuttle service to and from our Hyannis terminal.

On-Site Parking On the day of sailing, Ocean Street parking is only sold from our terminal. Any operators selling parking directly from lots along Ocean Street are not affiliated with Hy-Line Cruises. For on-site parking use GPS 220 Ocean Street to come directly to our Parking Gazebo.

Where can I park for free in Hyannis?
The public parking lots are located at:
- Ocean Street, behind 337 Main Street.
- North Street behind the 400 Block on Main Street (behind Puritan Cape Cod, British Beer Company, etc.)
- Behind the JFK Museum at 397 Main Street.
- At the Red Cross, 286 South Street.
Can you leave your car at Woods Hole?
Parking spaces in Woods Hole are reserved for visitors to Woods Hole ONLY. Those headed to the Vineyard have several parking options: Palmer Avenue Lot. The first parking lot, closest to Woods Hole, is on Palmer Avenue in Falmouth (about three miles up the road).
Should you take your car to Nantucket?
Bringing a car to Nantucket: Given Nantucket’s size and the excellence of its public transportation options, there really is no need to bring a car with you to the island. A round-trip fare on the Steamship Authority car ferry is very expensive, even during the off-season.
