What is the Flic app?
Flic is the original Smart Button. This app enables you to use and personalize Flic buttons. Create shortcuts in your life with a simple push of a button. Set what should happen when you push, double-click or push-and-hold your buttons.
Do I need a Flic hub?
No need for a smartphone Until now, Flic has always required the Flic App to run on a smartphone (or a Mac) nearby. We want everyone to be able to use Flic, not only the person that configured it in the first place. With the Flic Hub, you will no longer need a smartphone nearby to use Flic.
Are Flic buttons waterproof?
Is Flic waterproof? Flic buttons are rated with IP44 standard which officially classifies them as splashproof. They are not fully waterproof and we do not recommend using them in environments where the button could be fully submerged or sprayed with water for more than 10 minutes.

Can I use Flic button as doorbell?
This allows you to connect a speaker, and use the Play a Sound action in your command lists. So it can be a really elaborate doorbell if you fancy (although thinking about it, don’t put the buttons outside, they aren’t waterproof).

Does Flic 2 work without hub?
Flic 2 Smart Buttons, like the originals, can run independently, using your smartphone (and the Flic app) as a hub. That method has its flaws; you need to allow the app to run at all times and it’ll only work if it’s in Bluetooth-range of your phone.
How do I connect my Flic to Alexa?

- Type “Flic” and tap “Search” to go to the Flic Skill screen.

- Login with your Flic account.
- Tap “Close”, then tap “Discover Devices”
How do you set up a Flic hub?
Connect the Micro USB cable to the Hub and an external power adapter. The Hub will now turn on, indicated by a bright red LED. After approximately 60 seconds the LED will dim, indicating that it can now be found using the Flic App on your phone. Follow the setup and start connecting your Flic buttons.

Does Flic 2 require hub?
